History

Sant Pere Pescador Yacht Club is located on the right bank of the river Fluvià, it is located within the area of dominance Natural Park Aiguamolls and therefore has a privileged environment. The entry and exit from the entrance to the port has a special charm because it involves a beautiful walk along the river on whose shores are usually fishermen. Throughout this route passes through places of extraordinary ecological and landscape singularity. Places like the Middle of two rivers, now owned by the Territory and Landscape Foundation, and on the island of Caramany, integral reserve of Aiguamolls, are a clear example. In these areas we can find a rich and varied fauna and flora. The left bank of the island is navigable sector of the Integral Reserve, and is occupied by a riparian forest with a good ecological status.

The river port marina was built in 1974. The seventies were a time when tourism development was already more than evident and therefore this kind of equipment, intended for leisure and water sports, since proliferated throughout . Perhaps the uniqueness is mainly focused on what is a river port unlike the rest are marine. The promoters of the project were the association Sant Pere Pescador Yacht Club and the initial work consisted of a robber for sport boats and fishing equipment and a breakwater.

Currently, however, the main purpose of this center is to promote water sports and river also include marine services and port berths. It has 150 moorings, ramp service, crane and gas station for boats. Club Nautico San Pedro also has ample parking for cars, bar and restaurant.
